About Carl F Petersen Ltd

Carl F Petersen Ltd was established in the UK in 1989 to serve the replacement window and door industry. This remains our core and principle activity to date. Previously a subsidiary of a multimillion pound family owned Danish firm, the Carl F Group, of which we were their first international subsidiary.

The Carl F Group, including Carl F Petersen Ltd was acquired by Danish firm, Sanistål in January 2007. Along with 15 subsidiaries and regional offices around the world, Carl F Petersen Ltd now forms Carl F International representing the group’s business outside of Denmark.

In 2003, Carl F Direct was established, this area of the business targeted the light industrial sector, supplying everything from tools to health and safety equipment. It was established as a mail order catalogue targeted at business users, but is now primarily a web based business successfully selling to business and private customers alike.

DIYhomesecurity.co.uk was established in early 2008 initially offering only Kaba’s Gege RAM anti-bump cylinder. We consider the issue of ‘bumping’ to be of high importance and we want to alert home owners to the security risks they face in their homes. Based on our substantial experience and expertise in this area, particularly relating to PVC-u windows and doors, we are now offering products which are simple to fit but which will contribute significantly to your home security. We will continue to add to our collection as products enter the market, ensuring that you are first to update your home security.
