How to Measure for required cylinder size + Video

Firstly you need to remove your existing cylinder:

1. Open Door

2. Locate the centre screw

This is the screw which fastens the cylinder to the door lock. It can be located on the faceplate of the lock when the door is in the open position, in line with the lower part of the cylinder.

3. Measure from the centre of the screw to the following points:

* Screw centre to edge of plastic - edge of plastic to edge of handle

Repeat from the centre to the inside and to the outside

Inside - 10 + 25 = 35mm

Outside - 35 + 10 = 45mm

4. Therefore the cylinder size required is 35/45:
